Our Mission
Congregation Sha'are Shalom (Gates of Peace) is a diverse, inclusive, and modern synagogue, blending tradition and change. We strive to provide our members with opportunities to engage with Judaism and enjoy a sense of community.

From families with school-aged children to empty nesters and retirees, interfaith families, same-sex families, young singles or couples just starting out, with backgrounds ranging from Orthodox to not raised Jewish, together we have built a vibrant congregation.

We welcome multi-faith families. Our community recognizes that this can be a complicated commitment, especially when raising children, and we encourage the non-Jewish partner's involvement in the synagogue.

We also contribute to the communities that surround us, providing a variety of social, social action, educational and cultural programs that extend beyond our congregational membership.
