Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity
As part of the Conservative Jewish movement, at CSS we embrace the diversity of our congregation, including multi-faith families, same-sex families, and persons with disabilities. Together we have built a vibrant congregation where everyone belongs!
It is important to understand that the word conservative when denoting Jewish congregations, does not mean the same as in the political sphere. Conservative Judaism was formed to retain (conserve) many of the Jewish traditions that were no longer practiced by the Reform movement, while still taking a more adaptable approach than the Orthodox movement.

The Conservative Jewish movement is supportive of been outwardly supportive of our LGBTQ+ members and the LGBTQ+ community at large for many years.
Partnering with our Community
Lots of partnering with our neighbors, working to make the world a better and safer place.
